Production Update #1

Howdy Backers!
What a crazy month we've had. Not just our personal lives (moving three times - you don't have to ask, we're all settled now), but with the project too! Script and storyboard are finished, and we're starting to lock panels. It's all very exciting and starting to take shape. We have a lot of cool stuff in the works too - but it's stuff I can't share yet, sorry!
Script Locked
The script was locked before we started our campaign, but since we added so much to our book with stretch goals, we had to re-work most of the script to accommodate the new pages. It's old news, but as of June 1st, script version 2 has been locked.
Storyboard Complete

This was the tough one - tougher than moving three times. Gary is a madman. He's worked around the clock and has pumped out nearly 200 panels. It may seem like a lot, but it's just the surface of our process. Next step is locking page layouts and lettering.
Where's My Survey?
We've elected to hold off on surveys for now. There are more pressing matters to attend to at the moment. We will most likely hold off sending them until we are prepared to place our print order. Mainly, this will reduce the amount of support tickets we receive about people waiting for their books, adding books to their order, or wanting to change their shipping address.

Pre-Order Store
Missed the campaign? Now's your chance to get in on the action! We've launched our pre-order store here. If you did support us via kickstarter, but want more copies, you'll have the opportunity to add-on to your order upon receiving your survey - so please do not order from the pre-order store.
Twitch Stream
Our first twitch stream will be on July, 5 at 6pm PDT. Come and hang out with us at while Gary draws spoiler free panels from the book. Follow us on twitch.tv so you don't miss it.

The added content from the stretch goals has added to our timeline. Because of this, we are behind schedule. We will always be honest with you and keep you updated as our process continues. We will give you a new ETA when we gain some momentum and more accurately give you one.

THANK YOU FRIENDS!
Our campaign has ended at $48,018, and we are stunned. So stunned in fact, that we've decided to include the $50,000 mystery goal, even though we didn't hit it. We're including it because you deserve it anyway. Many of you went above and beyond with upgrading your pledges and sharing our campaign with your friends. We can't say thank you enough times. Thank you.
Oh! There is a catch, we're still keeping it a mystery.
WHAT TO EXPECT NEXT
Kickstarter has already billed many of you, but this process takes a couple weeks. If there is an issue with your card please take care of that quickly otherwise your pledge will be canceled.
We are knee deep in production already, but once we finish you will receive a survey to give us your shipping address and finalize your pledges. The survey will be the final step in the campaign. Until then, stay tuned for updates on kickstarter, facebook, twitter, and instagram. And in the coming weeks, we will also start streaming on twitch weekly.

The final stretch goal, $45k, gives us the funds to expand the amount of pages for issue one. Combined with with the illustrated Lore and Legends ($35k stretch goal), this will bring the book to the 48 page range. We also have the funds to improve the print quality of the book as well (sorry digital backers, but at least you get more pages). First of all, thank you again. Wow. Thank you.
Second of all, we can't just stop there... We have a couple of ideas for goals, a map of the city, mini-figures, and so on. But what we would really like to know is: What do you want? An additional $5k truly is a stretch, and we very well might not hit it. But never say never. Strut your stuff, send me a message and let's see what you've got.
