Oh... One More Thing

Check out The Few and Cursed #4 by Felipe Cagno

"Join the Redhead in her hunt for The Crows of Mana'Olana in this epic supernatural western."

Felipe is a super cool guy and has a solid track record as an 8 time Kickstarter creator. His series The Few and Cursed was funded in seven hours, has unlocked all of their stretch goals, and has 30 hours to go. They have some great rewards, including one that will get you all four issues - so you can get caught up. I can't recommend it enough.

Dear backers,

YOU ARE AMAZING.
You helped us raise nearly $9,000 in 24 hours! That means, we are almost halfway there. Thank you so much! We aren't counting our chickens before they hatch, but we've started to talk about stretch rewards and other ways to keep this momentum going. Stay tuned for more exciting updates soon.

Oh, and if you haven't already - tell your friends about the project too, share it on reddit, tell your shop owner, and all that other annoying stuff that people online tell you to say.

Noir Edition Clarification (Also 50% celebration)
almost 6 years ago – Mon, May 07, 2018 at 10:40:27 AM

Hey Backers!

First of all, Gary, Will, and I want to thank you again for all of your support. After two days, we have hit over 50%. Your support has been top notch, and we are very grateful.

Second, the Noir Edition. Some of you have asked for more information on what the Noir edition is exactly. It's a black and white edition of the entire book. A throwback to the time of great detective fiction of the 40s. This isn't simply a black and white filter placed on the final images, each panel is hand tailored to the aesthetic, and voiceover from Elliott, our protagonist, has also been added to the edition as well. But why tell you when I can show you?

I hope this clarifies things for you all a little bit! Keep the questions and comments coming, you are all great!

Stretch Goal Announcement
almost 6 years ago – Mon, May 07, 2018 at 10:40:22 AM

Hello everyone!

First off, we have some exciting news. It has been less than a week, and together we have reached 80%. We are almost to our goal, and it's all thanks to you. Second, it's time to announce our stretch goals for 100% and beyond.

$25,000 : Premium Paper

With $25,000 raised, we will be able to print on heavier, higher quality, paper. No cheap books here, holding the comic in your hands has never felt sooooo good.

$35,000 : Extended Lore

At $35,000 we will add an extended look into the world of The Patrons. The end of the issue will include an illustrated, 6 page side story, that follows different characters that live throughout the world. These stories will offer insights into the motivations of the citizens of the world, as well as an understanding of lore and legends. Below is a mock-up of said pages.

$45,000 :  Additional Pages and Perfect Bound Upgrade

At $45,000 we will be able to afford additional pages of content for The Patrons main storyline. Bringing our total to 35 fully illustrated comic pages, with a book total around 48 pages. Along with these extra pages, we feel that it is time to ditch the saddle stitch and embrace the beauty and quality of "perfect bound" books. This will again, upgrade the paper quality and feel of the entire comic book. See below for an example of the two bindings.
